You are invited to join Eastside Bloomington, Inc., a dynamic and rapidly growing assopciation of businesse on Bloomington's east side. Eastside Bloomington, Inc. (EBI) was launched in November of 2001 and already boasts nearly 70 members.

We'd love to count you among them!

EBI was formed in response to growing challenges faced by the eastside business community -- increasing competition, a soft economy, local job lay-offs, and at the time, the inconvenience of street construction on College Mall Raod. Ours is a business association that unites east side merchants and services to collectively promote the area from Moore's Pike to Tenth Street and from High Street to Indiana 446, as a commercial destination.

Eastside Bloomington, Inc. (EBI) seeks to provde its members with:
An incorporated association with a board of directors and elected officers who work for and with you to advocate the association's purpose.
Group promotions and publicity
Increased traffic and sales
Involvement in civic, social and cultural events to benefit members
A voice in the community issues and association business
Encouragement for high business standards

Members have already benefited in a number of meaningful ways:
30,000 locator maps were printed and distributed - members were listed FREE!
8,000 EBI discount cards were created and distributed to customers
Special advertising programs have provided participating members with FREE bonus space and discounted rated
Members' promotional materials were distributed FREE at Chamber of Commerce Business Expos
EBI represented member interests to the Monroe County Tax Assesor, and achieved tax relief for those businesses directly affected by College Mall Road construction project.
